My English is not very good, but "Someone mean-Someone means", "only one person have-only one person has".

I like this topic, and I would like to ask you to correct me in favour of improving my English.

Thanks for the sad - said. :D And I know this different, just sometimes I forget it - my writing is not the best. I need to read and write more and more, but usually I'm just speaking and listening... And if I would like to write a mail I always need to check a lot of words in the dictionary...

What you wrote (vide infra) - it was my idea as well and I asked my Scottish friend about that, but he said, it isn't correct... But he's just a Scottish man. :D He also said, sometimes my English grammar is better then his English. :D

First of all it is not sad it is "SAID", because this is the past of "say", sad meaning for example your boyfriend left you and you are sad.

Sad is a mood.

Someone mean for example "someone is able to prepare this presentation" it will mean that only one person have to prepare it not everybody.

Somebody mean for example "somebody shall by our car" it will mean that it can be anybody and not only one specific person.

Yes, I know. And thanks for your help. But I would like to know what is the true now and how I need to use that... Usually the American people use the 'body' one and the British people use the other one... Why? :P And where I lived at the firs time, there the people used the 'body' one, and it was in Great-Britain as well... What is correct? Who knows that?

It is possible. I've said I am not sure in this question.

One of my Scottish friend sad, the 'somebody' isn't nice, the 'someone' is the better one, because the body is just a body, and the one is nearly same as the person... And he sad, we can use both of them, but usually the 'one' one is much better than the 'body' one. BUT: sometimes only the 'body' one is correct, for example: 'Nobody knows that', but mostly they use someone, everyone etc... But I cannot find it in my book...

And he sad, a lot of people use this: One will go to the cinema, not I will go to the cinema. He sad, they are the snobs.

I'm not sure is that correct, because I never studied English in Hungary and here I learned the English language in the school just for a half year... I'm studying in the street and I have a grammar book at home. My English isn't perfect yet, but getting better. :P (And the Scottish-English is little bit different.)

But I also have a question: what is the different between SOMEBODY and SOMEONE...etc?

Both are correct, the different is the time (long):

At morning I ate a hamburger. (short time)

In the morning I was at home. (longer time, 6am-12am)

I think this is the different, but: BOTH are OK, you can use both of them, you need to know only the situation.

Hello, mr.az,

as to you 'in deed' is equal to indeed? In Hungarian language it means: valóban or valójában, but that is would be rather: really. It is one word! (I mean indeed.) Don't be angry me and sorry.

Thank you in advance.
